Zell’s Cafe
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. That’s why I love to eat out for breakfast so I know it will taste good and fill me up. I also never got big on cooking breakfast foods, so it works out.
Today I met my brother at Zell’s Cafe. I drive down Morrison street all the time and had never noticed this cafe before. It’s small, yet cozy inside and the staff was super friendly and laid back. All around, it had a good vibe and just made me want to eat there.
Right off the bat I ordered a bloody mary. It was spicy and perfect.
I ended up ordering the avocado, bacon and tomato omlette with a cilantro-lime sour cream sauce and the diced potatoes. So good.
My brother ordered one of the daily specials: a reuben scramble with pastrami & gruyere on toasted rye, served with sauerkraut and potatoes.
Zell’s was quite delicious and I will definitely be back to this cozy cafe.
