This weeks #QuarantineMeals is a special one as it marks our 10th week of providing delicious stay at home recipes for you and your family to create and enjoy. These past 10 weeks haven’t been easy. As our humanity has been forced to adjust our lives alongside an invisible virus that continues to attack us, we continue to be attacked by injustice and racism – except this battle can’t be stopped with a vaccine. 

Real change needs to be made.

Protest if you must, let your voices be heard, but channel that anger into positive and effective actions. Our voices matter and united we can influence millions. Exercise your right to vote, but educate yourself on who you are voting for. Let’s exercise our right to vote for the politicians that best represent us, politicians that will put laws into effect, that will protect us from injustice and racism. Elect politicians that will make real change.

Although we can be utilized as a form of escape, You Gotta Eat This! and our #QuarantineMeals are here to unite people through the universal language of food. By providing you with delicious stay at home, easy to make recipes.

Crunchy Tacos!

Serving Size | 2- 4 people


  • 2 lb Ground Beef or Ground Turkey
  • 2 tsp Taco Seasoning
  • 20 hard shell tacos
  • Quinoa/Brown Rice mix (1 packet)
  • 2 Tomatoes
  • 1/4 Onion
  • 1/2 Half Bell Pepper
  • 2 Garlic Cloves
  • Cheddar Cheese
  • Lettuce
  • Sour Cream


  1. Marinate then cook ground beef until brown.
  2. Bake hard shell tacos (follow instructions on box).
  3. Quinoa/Brown Rice mix: I used instant quinoa with brown rice mix that comes already seasoned. Follow directions on the package.
  4. Chop onions, and bell pepper. 
  5. Once ground beef brown add onions, garlic and bell pepper. Once fully cook mix with quinoa and brown rice.
  6. Dice tomatoes
  7. Shred cheddar cheese (to your liking).
  8. Add Ground Beef/Quinoa mix inside the taco shell.
  9. Top with diced tomatoes followed by shredded cheese.
  10. Top taco w/ sour cream (to your liking).

In our conversation we spoke about the golden era of hip-hop and the disconnect between this generation of artists. We also chopped it up about food, specifically their #QuarantineMeals!
