Nashville Adds A Spanish Flair To Chicken & Waffles At Saint Anejo

It’s been awhile, but look no further, your official Chicken & Waffles Connoisseur is back like she never left. This time I’ve taken my talents down to Nashville, Tennessee for some of the best home cooked meals ever! A nice visit to Saint Anejo’s for brunch turned out to be an exciting moment for my tastebuds as I’m sure if you visit you will agree as well.

Set the scene, it’s a bit breezy outside the wait is said to be two hours and you look at your friend with question. But there has to be a reason besides the buy one get one free drink specials.  Trying something different when it comes to food is a personal vice of mine but waiting is almost torture. Looking over and spotting two bar seats made it all better. Next thing I notice was the Chicken and Waffles on the menu. Eyes immediately light up and positive thoughts of great food enter my mind. Check out what I ordered:

Entree: Hot Chicken & Waffles (sorry I ordered regular, spicy is harsh on my lips)

Side: Smoked Ham

Beverage(s): Blood Orange Mimosa/Sangria (Twice)

Rating: 10/10

This is the first perfect score my all-time favorite spot (SweetChick) but there’s no comparison. Saint Anejo mixed it up with a Mexican flair!
