Gran Cosecha Tequila Arrives in The U.S.

After building a solid fan base is Asian and Latin markets for the past 10 years, Gran Cosecha Tequila is now available for consumption in America.

Made with agave from the Jalisco Mountains in Mexico, the tequila is slow-cooked in brick ovens for 24 hours before having sugar extracted with twice-distilled water in a 4 mill shredding process. Once the sugar content is reduced, the “mosto” or juice is fermented using custom prepared yeast in copper stills for four days, double-distilled to preserve aromatic and flavor properties, and (except for Blanco) aged in high-quality American oak barrels previously used for whiskey.

Gran Cosecha’s portfolio includes four variations: Blanco, Reposado (aged 6 months); Añejo (aged 14 months) and Extra Añejo, aged 44 months. The Blanco expression sparks of a bluish-white transparency and has notes ofblended nuts and olive, with fruits like apple and pineapple. The Reposado, and Añejo, tequilas flourish with a delightful blend of white oak, vanilla, cherries, dried fruit and savory nuts. Meanwhile, Gran Cosecha Extra Añejo tastes of a pleasurable blend of cooked agave, white oak, chocolate and vanilla.

The tequilas will be sold across major cities including: San Francisco, Las Vegas, Chicago, New York and Los Angeles at premiere restaurants, craft bars and retailers such as Broken Spanish, B.S. Taqueria, El Carmen, Petty Cash, Te’Kila Bar, Malibu Cafe, Basement Tavern and K&L Wine & Spirits.

Prices range from $45 -$80. For more information visit GranCosechaTequila.com, Instagram @GranCosecha and Facebook.com/GranCosechaTequila  #ElevateYourSpirit.
