Russell Westbrook Scores Partnership Deal With Mountain Dew
Russell Westbrook may not be participating in the 2015 Sprite Slam Dunk Contest, but the Oklahoma City Thunder point guard just made a huge vertical leap by landing a major endorsement with Mountain Dew. The multi-year partnership is the first of it’s kind with a professional basketball player, and will tip off an entirely new extension of the Mtn Dew Kickstart Campaign. As the posterboy for Dew Nation, Westbrook will introduce two new flavors — Pineapple Orange Mango and Strawberry Kiwi — that fuse an energizing blast of Dew with real fruit juice and coconut water. The campaign launches just in time for All-Star Weekend on February 14, with new ads featuring Russ and friends.
