The Sweet Treat Brownie
Good chocolate is my kryptonite. One bite can send me over the moon and out of this galaxy. When I was finally able to visit T&D’s Sweet Treats, I was buzzing with excitement before I ever entered. You see, I was first introduced to this establishment at the Taste of Kennesaw, and I sent a friend over to try them out after discovering that they were nearby. My friend was super excited about the caramel cream cheese brownie and though I was told that one was purchased for me, I never saw it. I was promised a new one, but I just could not wait to try it for myself. As I opened the door, the smells of sweet treats filled my nose and I did not want to leave!After chatting with the owner, Claudia Thomas, I excitedly purchased my brownie, and drove off to complete my errands. Before I could leave the parking lot the smell filled the car and I had to have just one bite.The first bite into this little piece of heaven was bliss! The brownie itself was soft, but held together remarkably well and remained moist all the way through. The cream cheese was light and was just enough to be a perfect addition. The caramel on top! Oh my! It was the perfect consistency to stay put on top, and I did not have to worry about dripping it all over my dress.Needless to say, the caramel cream cheese brownie did not make it home. Not even a crumb made it out of my car. I can’t wait to go back to try all of the other sweets at T & D’s Sweet Treats.
