Filet Mignon at the Chesapeake Club at The Tides Inn in Irvington, VA
My husband and I recently had a chance to spend a little time at The Tides Inn, in Irvington, Virginia. On our first night, we ate at the resort’s Chesapeake Club restaurant. The floors and ceiling are beautiful. The windows look out onto the bay. The food is delicious. The Executive Chef, TV Flynn, brings local ingredients and Virginia flavors together to create mouthwatering and delicious combinations. We absolutely enjoyed devoured our meals. An excellent recommendation, in case you ever get to visit, is the filet mignon. As pictured, it has a Carbernet reduction and wild mushroom ragout, asparagus, broccolini, and carrots; it usually comes with garlic mashed potatoes instead of the asparagus. It smelled, looked, and tasted divine! I would highly recommend both The Tides Inn and the Chesapeake Club.
