Blue2O – A seafood lovers delight
My search for some great seafood landed me at Blue2O in Cherry Hill, NJ.
The menu offered a great array of choices from Tuna Tartare to Filet Tips Au Poivre. My choice, Pan Seared Scallops… and what a great choice it was.
The Pan Seared Scallops came with a corn puree, arugula, red wine vinaigrette and bacon (and yes, everything taste better with bacon!)
Next stop, Maine Lobster Risotto. This wood grilled lobster tail comes in a saffron-citrus broth with peas mixed in. While I enjoyed the lobster, the risotto wasn’t my favorite. But you cant win them all. But keep in mind, this dish is a Chef’s selection!
The Grilled Chilean Sea Bass came with a citrus melted butter which was amazingly delicious when mixed together. It had a combination of great taste and texture. A must eat!
The final and most sweetest stop, a Banana Foster Bread Pudding with Caramel and Hot Fudge topped off with Vanilla Ice Cream. The bread pudding was moist with a nice hint of banana throughout and the ice cream was nice & smooth. A delicious end to to a great start.
Great atmosphere with excellent customer service!
