Yes, at first look, you do think about the scene in “The Christmas Story” when the family is presented with the duck for dinner. However, this isn’t a duck at Vue on 30a (Santa Rosa Beach, Fla.), but their Vue Crispy Whole Catch. On this particular evening, it’s freshly caught redfish. Chef Gio Filippone wanted to do something different with a whole fish. He says typically in the South, the whole fish is baked. He decided to take a step further by tempura-like frying it and presenting it Asian-Style.
