I was invited to my cousins 10 year wedding anniversary the other day, Congrats Marie Eleana & Ignazio! They wanted to share there moment and love with there family and of course there’s no better way over some great food. They chose Frankies 457! a little info: Frankies Spuntino opened its doors on September 13, 2004. The building at 457 Court Street in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn. Before that it was an Italian social club, and it was a classic “fixer-upper” when discovered by friends Frank Castronovo and Frank Falcinelli in 2003.
I must say I loved the ambience at this place and the staff was simply amazing, sweet and helpful. Now lets get to the amazing dishes and desserts that were served:
Frankie’s Greens with Roasted Carrots, Cremini Mushrooms topped off with Cipollini Onion Cider Vinaigrette:
Meatballs with Pine Nuts & Raisins:
Gnocchi Marinara With Whipped Fresh Ricotta And Shaved Pecorino:
Frankies Sandwiches – “Made on Pizza Bianca Bread” Mozzarella, Tomato & Red Peppers and Proscuitto & Pecorino:
No Sunday lunch is great without some Mimosas on hand:
OK now you knew the dessert was coming right!? They had a Red Velvet Anniversary cake:
Chocolate Ganache Tart:
Ricotta Cheesecake With A Hint Of Lemon:
Mark this down as a must visit for not only a great experience but great food! They also have a location in the city.
