Guinness Puts An Irish Twist On Nitro IPA Beer
There’s a new beer in town courtesy of Guinness. The new brew comes in the form of an IPA. Brewed in Dublin, Guinness Nitro IPA is made with Guinness-style nitrogenation and India Pale Ale characteristics to create a unique flavor profile.
In terms of it’s genetic make-up, Guinness™ Nitro IPA combines a hop-forward IPA profile with the qualities of a classic Guinness pint. By blending CO2 and Nitrogen, the beer balances out the profusion of hop flavors, while also creating the signature surge and settle made famous by Guinness™ Draught.
Beginning September 2015, Guinness™ Nitro IPA will be on tap in select bars across the country and hit shelves nationwide as a six pack of 11.2 oz. cans at a suggested retail price of $8.99. The beer has an ABV of 5.8% and 44 IBUs.
