Chili’s California Chicken Flatbread
Chili’s was my favorite restaurant growing up. As a grown up I haven’t been there much but when I do go, I always have a tasty experience. This last visit was no different. I had a Lunch combo which is a salad or soup and a main plate ranging from $6 – $8. I’m not big on soups but tried the chicken enchilada soup and boy was I surprised. I thought the cheese would overpower the chicken but it was very delicious. It came with tortilla chips and shredded cheese.
For my main plate I decided to venture out of my comfort zone and try a flat bread pizza. I chose the California grilled chicken flat bread and was not disappointed, you gotta eat this. This flat bread is topped with grilled chicken, applewood smoked bacon (who doesn’t love bacon), Monterey Jack, mozzarella, cilantro, fresh avocado slices (no lie) and house-made pico de gallo with roasted garlic-aioli sprinkled over it all. There’s nothing in it that doesn’t sound tasty so you can imagine how happy my belly was when I finished it all. 🙂 Definitely check out the lunch combo deal on the menu if you visit Chili’s.
