The Shrimp Po-Boy Is Immaculant at Peaches in Bed-Stuy.
Finally I’m back after a mini hiatus. I think I was eating a little bit too much junk food and I definitely didn’t want to tell you about that. But no worries. I have returned with goodies. I had the best Shrimp Po Boy ever. It will go down as the best because it is indeed my first one. I’m sure I should have experienced the goodness it the hometown of New Orleans, but Brooklyn, specifically Bedford Stuyvesant has a soul like no other.
After a brisk walk from Crown Heights to Bed-Stuy I met up with one of my friends and she actually lives down the street from Peaches. So let’s get to it. First the menu, delightful. I spotted shrimp then was told the sandwich also comes with french fries. But not just any french fries, they were barbecue seasoned fries. They tasted like barbecue potato chips. I was in love. But then it was time…I used two hands and picked up the excellence and devoured the shrimp po boy. Full of flavor featuring a sauce that I just enjoyed with every taste bud I had.
The drink of choice was a rum infused drink that was deliciously sweet and strong! Make sure you visit and tell them Tatiana sent you:)
