Levy Restaurants & Texas Motor Speedway Unveil Sweet & Spicy Menu For AAA Texas 500 Nascar Triple-Header

Texas Motor Speedway and Levy Restaurants unveiled a “Fire & Ice” bacon-themed concession menu for the 2015 AAA Texas 500 NASCAR triple-header in Fort Worth, Texas the first weekend in November.

The “Fire” portion features the Hawg Heaven Double Barrel Dawg, a massive sandwich featuring two foot-long Texas Hot Links, custom made for Levy Restaurants by locally owned Syracuse Sausage in nearby Ponder, Texas, a jalapeno bacon and caramelized onion mix, bacon queso and topped with crunchy spicy pork rinds.

Meanwhile, the “Ice” comes in the form of a Final Rocky Road-eo ice cream sundae in tribute to retiring NASCAR icon Jeff Gordon, who makes his final TMS start in next Sunday’s AAA Texas 500. The sundae features a Krispy Kreme maple bacon donut, two scoops of Gordon’s favorite ice cream Rocky Road, hot fudge sauce infused with bacon, bacon whipped cream, honey roasted peanuts, chocolate chips, marshmallows and candied bacon.

NBC Dallas-Fort Worth reports the Hawg Heaven Double Barrel Dawg is $11, while the Final Rocky Road-eo Sundae retails for $10. NASCAR and bacon lovers alike can pick up the treats on Nov. 5 through 8 at the concession stand inside Gate 4.
